Bearsted residents please be aware that there has been a recent residential burglary in the area.

Please take steps to secure your property,

Lock doors and windows.

Secure valuables and electronics if you leave the house.

Consider a house sitter if going on holiday.

Utilise timers for lights to keep your home looking lived in if you are away.

I urge residents to report all matters of concern or that raise suspicion to the Police on either 101 or in an emergency 999.
